| I've been playing Hiddenworld for a long time now, since April of 1999 in fact. But it's time for me to move on. Part of it is game based. I've basically done everything you can do with Sac Daebreak (and to an extent my already halled alt Natasha Daebreak). Not only was Sac played all the way to the hall of fame in the last version of Hiddenworld (under the name “Sac”), but I was the 1st person to become a lord in this version of game; I lead Burning Rage to top in both this version and last(Much thanks to Wildfire for this success in this version!); I've been a guest, citizen, privileged guest, town council, mayor, noble, lord, knight and a king; I've mastered all weapons; I've fought all monsters; I've been to all realms/towns; I've owned all pets; I've reached the ultimate level, level 100. In short, I've done it all. But that's just part of it, as the community itself has changed as well. I look around now and find that none of the friends, rivals and enemies from “my time” are around any more. I look at the forums, and those that were active before me are gone. Those that became active when I became active are gone too. Now, I see only newer or new faces. Good people, sure, but...it's just not the same. Still, I'd like to say thanks to all the folks that have, and still do, play Hiddenworld, as well as all the people I've interacted with via the various forums and the inn/ghost mode chat, player fights or just from joining the same in game teams as my characters, far too many too list here. If it wasn't for the great people this game attracts to its community, I doubt I have have played as long as I have. But now, It's time for Sac Daebreak the character to retire, while Sac the player to looks for new worlds, new games and new adventures. Fear the rage...THE BURNING RAGE!! - Sac |
